The information we collect

To give you the best service, we may need to collect:

• Your name, contact details (phone, email, address)

• Your driving licence details (to check you’re legally able to take lessons)

• Payment information (so we can process lesson fees)

• Lesson notes and progress records

Why we collect it

We only use your information to:

• Book and manage your lessons

• Check your driving licence (it’s a legal requirement before lessons)

• Take payments safely and securely

• Keep in touch with you about lessons, cancellations, or changes

• Meet our legal obligations (like accounting and insurance)

How long we keep it

We don’t keep things forever – only as long as needed:

• Licence checks: deleted within 6 months after onboarding

• Lesson and payment records: kept for up to 6 years (for accounting and insurance rules)

• General enquiries: deleted within 12 months if you don’t go ahead with lessons

Who we share it with

We never sell your details. Ever.
We only share information if it’s necessary – for example with:

• DVLA/DVSA (to check your licence)

• Our payment provider (to process payments)

• Insurers or regulators, if legally required

Your rights

You’re always in control of your data. Under GDPR, you can:

• Ask what info we hold on you

• Ask us to correct anything that’s wrong

• Ask us to delete your data (where possible)

• Say “no thanks” to certain uses of your data

• Ask us to transfer your data to another provider
